The integrated divisional office building to be constructed on the premises of the Varanasi divisional commissionerate complex will look like a temple. The building will have two interconnected towers, 10 floors and will house all divisional level offices.

Abhishek Goyal, vice-chairman of the Varanasi Development Authority, said one land plus a 10-10-storey tower is proposed in the divisional commissionerate complex. It will house around 59 offices at the divisional level. This is believed to be the most modern and iconic building in Uttar Pradesh. In this ecological building all environmental protection regulations will be followed. It will be built according to international standards.
According to a press release, the vice-president of the VDA stated that some essential business activities are also proposed here. There will be banks, a cafeteria, a stationery store and related businesses. There will also be a gym for employees. The construction of the modern multi-storey building will cost approximately $275 crores.
